Paul J. Collins - Convergence

digital art - 12'' x 8''

As a contemporary artist, I find creating a piece of work a therapeutic process without worrying too much if the results will be successful. My ideas come from thoughts of things and influences of the past, present and future; some are planned and some are experimental. By definition my work is abstract but I don’t produce it for the purpose of having something to say or for it to have a hidden meaning; rather it is just the opposite and is straightforward and uncomplicated. I make the shapes, lines and colours so that they are pleasing to the eye and stimulating to the mind.

Cher Pruys - Bryanna's Treat

acrylic on hot press - 9'' x 9''

Cher Pruys, ASAA SCA, IGOR, AAPL, CSAA, AMS, LMS, OSA, MAA, CFA, NOAPS, PSOA, AWA., AAOA. I am a self taught artists working in water based medium, mainly acrylic, but also at times gouache and water-colour. I am a hyperrealism painter fascinated by the world around me. I am very drawn to shiny surfaces as well as transparent objects, especially when the lighting brings them to life. I look for beauty in everyday objects that most people take for granted or just don’t truly see them as they are. The seemingly boring and mundane subjects can truly be like magnets if portrayed in the right light. Shiny metal is one of those materials that can host endless visions….the light hits it and the reflections are captured on the smooth, sleek surface…people and animals especially the eyes...an artists dream! My future art plans are to paint the countless subjects I have chosen to become paintings and to share my art with as many people as I can. "To take my inner visions with my hands and create a work of art for you the viewer .... That is the ultimate in self expression."

Jay Johansen - The Softest Flame, The Fiercest Storm -

acrylic on canvas - 48'' x 46''

My art explores identity, emotion, and legacy. Through portraits, I capture not just likeness but essence, using bold palettes and textures to evoke nostalgia, intrigue, and reflection inviting viewers to connect with deeper stories. Legacy, history & experience that’s what makes the story telling, by way of oil & acrylic mediums, by Jay Johnsen approachable, relevant & enduring.

Michael Wagner - Tales of colors and imagination (Prism)

photography - 60 x 80 cm

For me, photography is a means of poetic expression. I am interested in images that reveal something that goes beyond everyday experience. Images that raise questions instead of providing answers. And images whose appearance evokes a meditative gaze rather than rationality. I like to use photography as an experimental medium. My aim here is not to depict, but to visualize. In this way, I mainly make use of macro photography, motion blur and double exposure. These photographic means promote the ambiguity, the complexity of my work. Basically, I am interested in the open picture, in a creative approach whose aim is to create content that gives the viewer considerable scope for interpretation. This leeway is, so to speak, part of the creative process. This results in photographs that are ambiguous in a certain way and yet have a firm character and suggest a clear goal.
