Robert Peachey - End of Season

acrylic - 36'' x 48''

“As an artist, I feel the responsibility to translate my visual experiences into opportunities for the viewer to connect emotionally to my art. I strive to evoke their sensory stimulation and memories of time and place, such as the smell of decaying leaves or the chill of icy water. As an element of design, light reveals and transforms features in the landscape. I strive to portray light as an essential element in my art to change focus, perception and the emotional experience of subjects I portray.” Robert describes the creative process as one which begins with exploring, understanding and interpreting the natural landscapes through their lifecycles and seasonal changes. He looks for the inherent elements and principles of design found in nature to help him portray the experience of space and place through his art.

Christopher Forslund - The Pose

photography

Christopher Forslund is a US based landscape and nature photographer and full time RV Nomad. His images are featured in online galleries throughout the United States. Christopher grew up in the rural, coastal mountains of California where he fell in love with the outdoors, photography, and the arts. From his early involvement with the Boy Scouts, through his law enforcement career, and then as a touring professional musician and now as a full time RVer, he has had the opportunity to travel, explore and capture much of this nation’s beauty though the art of photography. Over the past several years, Christopher’s image style has evolved towards the dramatic. His landscape images evoke strong, expressive emotions. An emphasis on color, light and detail creates dramatic expression in his images. “There is so much more to capturing an image than just the technical aspects of photography. I strongly believe that an image can truly speak to the heart and when I am capturing an image, I attempt to use the existing light and color to convey the emotion that I feel in that moment. I truly desire to harness strong emotion through my images.” “I love to travel and can seldom be in one place for any significant length of time. I am drawn to all of the beauty that this great Nation has to offer and am always excited when I have the opportunity to capture and share a new image.” “Through the years, my passion for photography has never diminished and now my love of photography coupled with the love of travel is truly a dream come true.”

Chau Kwok Wai - Radar Station at Sunset

watercolor - 41 x 31 cm

Kwok was born in Hong Kong in 1954 and is an art lover. He has always enjoyed drawing and painting. During his working life, his busy schedule and frequent travel abroad put a stop to his painting for many years. He didn't pick up the paintbrush again until he retired. He finds watercolor's unpredictable nature to be very fascinating. Water can occasionally flow in an erratic manner, and too much water can produce unwanted cauliflower patterns. Watercolor is quite challenging to handle since it dries much lighter and the colors are mostly transparent. Despite the challenges of working with watercolor, he enjoys manipulating the water, colors, and drying time to capture the atmosphere, demeanor, and emotion of the motif he has chosen. He has also learned to appreciate happy accidents. Though watercolor presents a vast range of possibilities, there is very little space for error. A completed painting, however, gives his soul a tremendous amount of satisfaction. His artworks emphasize the harmony and balance of warm and cool colors, hard and soft edges, strict and loose brush strokes, and light and dark contrasts. Through his approach, he attempts to establish unity, wholeness, and harmonious balance while also creating essential tension to captivate his viewers. Whenever he paint, Kwok feels relaxed and calm, and enters a meditative state, He forgets the troubles in life and completely immerse himself in his own art world. That feeling has been driving him to continue painting. he won many awards and was selected for exhibitions in the UK, USA, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Santiago, Russia and China. This gave him the confidence to continue experimenting with watercolor techniques.

Basha Maryanska - The Ocean Energy

acrylic on canvas - 24'' x 24''

My creativity floats and expresses Energy and Movement. Art is in constant motion. It is a motion. My Art is the mirror of my Soul, reflects what inspires me, responds to what life brings. I transform the space, light and shadows, shapes and movements into my images. I portrait my feelings and thoughts, light and atmosphere using various techniques. The vibration of colors, composition and texture have a significant role in my painting. I invite all of these miraculous things to come and float like a stream through me. I choose to remain open and let it happen.
